The following center offers counselling and information, as well as various lectures and seminars giving advice on child care issues.

•Disease Prevention Injection Schedule
A mixture of pertussis, diphtheria and tetanus Stage 1/ First Injection Three times between age 3-90 months (7 years and 6 months), at 3-8 week intervals
Stage 1/ Booster Injection After first injection completed, a period of at least 6 months should lapse before administering a booster injection.
A mixture of
diphtheria and tetanus
Only once for those aged 11/12 years old.  [6th grade of elementary school]
A mixture of
Measles and Rubella
(*)
Stage 1 Age 12 - 24 months
Stage 2 Age 5 - 7 years old, during the year before the child enters elementary school.
Japanese encephalitis
*Is not currently being administered, in accordance with the advice of the Health, Labor, and Welfare Ministry's advisory.

Stage 1/ First Injection Twice between age 6-90 months, at 1-4 week intervals
Stage 1/ Booster Injection A once only booster injection for those aged 6-90 months (7 years and 6 months), generally 1 year later
Stage 2 Once between ages 9-13 years [4th grade of elementary school]
*Poliomyelitis  Twice between age 3-90 months (7 years and 6 months), at more than 6 week intervals (Operated in Spring and Autumn sessions)
*BCG once between age 3 - 6 months.
You can take the vaccinations with marking of *, at the public health and welfare center of each ward office.  For those without the marking, they are available at any medical facilities with signs of "Osaka City Authorized Disease Prevention Injection Medical Organization".  (The brackets indicate at what grade the vaccinations are usually administered.  )
